Quality Full Service Screenprinting

Ink is pressed through a mesh screen with a squeegee to apply the color directly to the shirt. If multiple colors are desired, a separate screen is needed for each color. Screens are "registered" so that the ink colors land where they are supposed to be to create your graphic. Sometimes individual ink colors are "spot dried" on the press between colors, to keep the image intact before printing the next color. When all colors for a location are finished, the shirt is removed form the press and put through a dryer on a moving belt where the final curing or drying of the ink takes place. When it comes out...voila!...it can be printed in another location or it is finished and ready to go.

T-Shirt Express uses both automatic and manual presses to produce your tees and sweats and uniforms. Depending upon the garment color, we can print up to 7 or 8 colors on a garment. We offer 24 stock ink colors for white or light color items and 24 ink colors suitable for dark garments. Mixing special ink colors upon request is also an option.

The Art

Our staff will help you create your graphic or work with your digital file or artwork. Vector art created in Adobe Illustrator is the file type we use for standard direct screenprinting prodution. We can also access other file types such as pdf, eps, jpg, psd, etc. An art charge likely will apply when using these other file types since we will need to create the desired item in the vector program.
